Good ssb rig wanted as small as possable ???

Having got myself a newer car ( Vauxhall Vectra ) with very little space to fit a cb radio anybody got any thoughts as to a good very small ssb radio, I do have a Optima Mk 1 / 2 but is there anything out there better you think ???

Hi warlock Look for a realisic Trc465 or a uniden pc 122 or uniden pro 640e or a uniden bearcat 980 and k40 mag mount antenna on fleabay .cheers

YES SIMON,a new car to me i love vauxhall vectras and this will be the last one i will have as it is one of the last vectras to be made the last one i had 1999 had covered 264000 miles same engine/gearbox/clutch the 2006 one i have just bought has only done 98000 miles and as i am 72 years young i think it will last me out ,NOW what about the radio any thoughts please ,

I have a Alinco dr135uk which is about the same size as a car radio, however like you my car doesn't have any place in the dashboard to put it however I just mount a rig bracket to the side of the centre console which works fine.

A Dirland 9353 ( or rebadged variant). These are even smaller than the SS9900's.

Albrecht 2990 ssb handset with the ext mic and a wee amp under the seat.Would a handset sit in the cup holder ? Worked fine with ma Uv5r,just a thought Warlock.
