Rotel 240 microphone problem

Hi guys got a rotel 240 and i tried wiring a mic up but it just keying its self up. I've tried different mics and they are wired up to the same type of radio what could this be ?

Me thinkz he more than likely Got tx / rx mic wires wired to wrong pins. :ugeek: .

I got the wiring right but someone had changed the wiring inside the radio and so i had to figure out which wire went where on the plug.

Yeah it was a bit frustrating but got there in the end.

I've seen that where they've got quite a few radios and have say wired the Cybernet-boarded ones so they can use their favourite Uniden-wired mic' on them without having to use a cross-over adapter lead if changing radios regularly.
