Working perfectly and in beautiful condition. Very happy indeed.

Cheers Drew! :D

It may have been modded then Andy . From the factory it should have the FCC MID band on "LOW" . 28.000 to 28.440 on "MID" and 28.500 to 28.940 on "HI" . The bands are the only thing that lets it down , but it's easily converted . If you can find the crystals :)

Possibly modded at some time in its life then Sammy. But it's a good band plan as there's nothing of any note below 26.965 and the same again for above 27.755, especially with no FM mode. So the mod has been sympathetic and well done as the band's are all on frequency. It really is a cracking radio.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

Yeah . After seeing some more photos I decided to pass on them . They look ok from the front , but the guy seems to think that modding a 3900 to get 30W AM deadkey from it is something to be proud of . Holes drilled in them as well , which is a big no no .

Cheap in UK Ebay terms . Not worth it in my eyes , and also a 200 mile round trip to get them .
