Turner +3b base mic - price ?

Post by pgcam »

Having a clear out of some radio kit that is just gathering dust which includes a Turner +3b in its original (albeit grubby) box with the turner wiring booklet and microphone spec sheet.

I would say the Mic is very near mint the only issue being a slight blemish on the PTT bar, even this is only visible at certain angles & lighting. The base plate has no marks whatsoever from the springy battery retaining strap.

I've had a look on EBay for a guide price but the only ones on there are from a USA dealer who want silly money for rough examples.

Can anybody advise what I should price this Mic at ?

Cheers,
Peter.....

I've got one being sold local to me at the moment for €45 . Around £38 . I think I managed to get around £30 for mine a few years back . Prices might be different over here though .

A lot less than I thought which makes the USA dealers prices even more ridiculous.

I might just keep this one then. Thanks for taking the time to reply though.

No problem Peter . It might be worth a bit more , but that model seems quite popular , which probably keeps the price down .

Good luck anyway ,

A boxed Super Sidekick appears to have sold for just over £100 recently. I've got a +3B base Mike too, and I really rate it!

Yep I bought that, love em, had one years ago, cost me a fair bit, but I always bid to win if I really want something, sounds absolutely ace!

They look quite similar , but I presume the +3B and Super Sidekick are different internally ?
