I was given a 125 XLT scanner for Christmas and so have joined to find out what it is all about,and there is alot to learn from what i have read. So far i find it very interesting. I live in Newark area so i am hoping to be able to pick up Waddington,Coningsby Cranwell etc as well as commercial airport traffic. Having read on hear the first thing i did was replace the antenna so i have a Watson 881 on my 125 and it seems to be picking up much better than the standard antenna. Next is to put an antenna in the loft! If anyone has a list of local frequency's they think i should be able to hear to get me started i would be greatful.
