Or does president actually believes i keep buying their pre-production prototype crap until they get it right sometime?

To put things in perspective, i just recently bought a chinese 20 euro piece of electronic garbage ( a fridge magnet with camera) , but it has a usb socket and within 10 minutes after purchase i found a new firmware for it and after installing it worked fine, just like the 19k2 modem which i upgraded through firmware to 33k6, that was in 1995....
Not all fixes firmware as a forum not place to unload your anger

Email them, tell them all the faults you found. You've got a warranty on it, guess a receipt too as bought new, that's how got my radio fixed

I notice that the 'export resistor' is missing from your radio....

So is the export just done in the software? No need for any hardware changes?

The resistor in yours looks a little out of place, I wonder if it has been added to enable export.

I've just posted a couple of videos of the radio working on 10 meters SSB and also RX only on 11 meters.

Would really like to know if they have fixed the CW problem that plagued the other models of this radio......yes some of us do use that mode from time to time.

Just ordered one from Doug at Knights. While I'll most likely just use it on 10/12m, I went for the expanded version to see what it's like on 11m.
Should be here early next week.

I also recently purchased an Optima MkIII so will be interested in comparing them.
