Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Thought I would just post my findings/WTR list. Very much a work in progress but hopefully it might be useful to some!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... sp=sharing
If you have any more I would be happy to add them to the list!

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Not my area, but useful none-the-less, and Google docs is a handy way to sharing the data.
I can add the Airwave site at Newcastle-Under-Lyme (On the roof of the Kawasaki motorcycle dealer alongside the A34):
(Not decodable of course, but at least you detect signals, depending on your scanner)
(Base freqs shown, mobile 10MHz lower)
392.36250 TMO:089 STF008F Newcastle under Lyme (3)
393.31250 TMO:127 STF008F Newcastle under Lyme (3)
394.63750 TMO:180 STF008F Newcastle under Lyme (3)

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Glad to hear it was useful to someone! There does seem to be much more digital popping up these days. I recently took the plunge and bought a cs700 which seems to be doing the job very nicely! The rtl-sdr dongle with the new version of DSD plus is a godsend! Just a pain to sit and wait around for a transmission to get the slot and talk group on the not-so active frequencies!
I will keep updating the list with any new findings. I am pretty sure "unknown DMR 8" is hospital traffic wardens.

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Here is an update been working on I used the Ofcom website and other site to find the information. Some of the Sodexo frequency's are reflector repeaters I posted a link below for anybody to look at.

Just noticed you;ve updated it. Nice. What are reflector repeaters?Cyberdyneman wrote:Here is an update been working on I used the Ofcom website and other site to find the information. Some of the Sodexo frequency's are reflector repeaters I posted a link below for anybody to look at.

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Reflector repeaters are the same as IP Link repeater used for roaming so if a person talking on a reading is in a part of a building as in (RSUH) where the signal might become weak they have other repeaters linked to the main ones. I'm not 100% certain but that a ruth guess to how it works because you hear control room talking to a porter on 453.0500 and 453.200 and security and maintenance on 453.0250 and 453.100. Amatuer radio users have simlar system for DMR Marc Network to talk to other around the world. If you have the money it worth investing in a Uniden BCD536HP Scanner they just released DMR and mototrbo firmware upgrade that you have to pay for. I bought one and the DMR does work ok tho not sure how to set up Cap+ yet but had it partially working. Its a excellent scanner for the price but That AOR AV1 is well over priced for what it is. There are new DMR/Mototrbo users appearing on the airwaves all the time. Hope this info helps

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Try these, may be CAP+, just enter as 'MotoTRBO Trunk' on BCD536HP
162.925 Staffs SAR Team, Stone [WTR 1049682] CC8 158.325
163.575 Staffs SAR Team, Essington SJ 90528 30878 [WTR 1049682] CC5 159.075
These maybe be part of the SARcomm/LRnet network, but that's encrypted so all you can get is the site number, Talkgroups & Unit IDs pop up, but you can't hear them

Re: Newcastle-under-lyme/Stoke Frequencies
Do these uniden scanners with the DMR upgrade automatically detect the colour code and talkgroups etc or do you still need to know that info?Cyberdyneman wrote:Reflector repeaters are the same as IP Link repeater used for roaming so if a person talking on a reading is in a part of a building as in (RSUH) where the signal might become weak they have other repeaters linked to the main ones.
