first Response cyclists....

Post by welshevo »

afternoon.... so on my travels in cardiff town i noticed the paramedics on mountain bikes and the first thing i thought was odd... was the lack of "sepura" now i recall seeing them having the sepura tetra back last year .... and instead they are now using the Tait Orca Series 5000! VHF! does anybody have the freqs for these? its probably a MPT system? but worth a listen ? anyhow! useless info for the day haha

thats the thing... last year they were using Sepura Tetra... and your right the Tait ORCA system is very last century! they may as well use a couple of Motorola HT600e! haha but after speaking to a friend who advised me the original Cycle team were Private/NHS but due to cuts St Johns ambulance replaced the service and St johns service currently only operate on VHF.. hence the ancient wireless!
