Does anyone know what frequency is used for the data signals to update the signs at bus stops in the Birmingham/Solihull area and how easy is it to decode..? I imagine it would be quite useful info..!

I dont know how it works down South but up North in my area the buses are regulated by Metro, they give you access to there website and the bus data so no need to decode it!

Most of these bus stop signs use GPRS/3G now. If not then it's usually Band III.

Hmm, I know the bus radio system is Band 3 (I work for them) but the aerials on the stops look more like UHF 440 MHz + than Band 3.wires wrote:Thay are normally bAnd 3 and licenced to the local authorities
