Sembcorp utilities

Hi all, ive recently just inputed sembcorps freqs into my scanner along with the fire handies. It sounds like sembcorp have gone digital as two of there freqs are sounding digital. Has anyone recently heard them and do you think you could pick them up around Sunderland. I hope they havent gone digital and it seems daft if they have.

I've had to turn my scanner off today, too many freqs getting interference and needing to be locked out!!

Sebcorp? what site? I have one of those here on teesside, they use a trunked net in the 44x area and I think they`ve got conventional pmr repeaters either onsite or up on eston nab (cant remember if it is at eston nab or onsite and cant check the wtr at the mo)

Yes the Teeside site(s). I think ive picked them up once and that was months ago. I hope im not just out of range as im not far from sunderland.

I`m not far from them and I have problems getting them some times lolol

That said, I sometimes get a control channel for the busses from sunderland way every now and then

Smoggy, whats the freq for the buses you get. I cant input some bus freqs on my scanner as they arent cover in bands.

It`s 202.462500 (if it doesnt fall in one of the scanners 'gaps')

you might hear control channel then it`ll die and the bloke will talk then the control channel will come back again (if it`s the one I`m thinking of so it maybe a single channel trunk, may not)

Hi all, ive picked sembcorp utilities up tonight quite a bit. It was about half past 6 and they were doing radio checks and i heard them talking to an ambulance. At least i know im not to far away. Im amazed at how far i am and how clear i can hear them.
