Hi all

Question has any one get any tips or working knowlage of the BB7V Diamond Wideband Ground Plane Antenna. has i am not having much look with it


i am thinking about trying to get it around 2 to 6 feet highter. it is fix to the side of the shack about 6 feet above the ground. at this time.

i am looking to work on 80, 40 and may be 20 meters

thank you for any tips you can give

It uses a VERY VERY lossy transformer.
So it will be deaf and people will have a hard time hearing you.
Your s.w.r. should be around the 2:1 or 3:1 area across the H.F.
Being easy to tune is the only reason to be using one to be honest.

This antenna works on the same principal, this should give you some clues.

the SWR is below 1.5 on all bands. but the noise is at 9 S points on 80, 40, 20 above there it is not thing

the shop sold me saying i would work the world, i think within the first fews of having i made contacts of around 2000 Miles but over the past years i just got more and more noise on the bands.

SO i am looking for a new one, for a small garden got about 1 meter where it can go. beems are a no go due to room and a longer wire is a little to longe.

HELP..! i what to get back on HF and makes contacs. has the past years it been like {bnghd} on a brick wall. open to all i dears
