Two SignaLink USB cards

Post by pete_uk »

I have a SignaLink USB sound card on my TS-950SD but I also want one for my Yaesu FT857D, are there any problems with using two on one Win7 PC? Will they both Identify as different cards?

Cheers

If they identify with serial numbers then you won't have any problems, but if they don't then they might change every time you unplug them and plug them back in, they will definitely show up as two separate devices though.

I think they'll show up as two different sound cards, so just make sure you associate your radio interface software of choice with the correct one when working.

For anyone reading this, both show up fine, one in lowercase the other in CAPITAL LETTERS
