Brilliant technical advice from the gang, "go and buy a Kenwood mic"

Not, strip it down and put some shielding tape in there and a bit of cotton wool 2mm from the edge and a 100pf cap from shield to common on the mic element (by the way, none of that is real advice to get rid of it, just a made up example).

Had one of those TYT MD-380 handies. Heard that net one night and promptly sold it.That's not radio it's a dictatorship.

Yes i gave up a good little radio and yes it probably will grow a little but it won't pass in numbers the amount of Hams who use analogue. Real RF. Not a phone line. Nuff said. :mrgreen:
