Got a used 203 amp and it seems to rx v well .
All nice and clean but the pre amp is faulty .
Quite common I read so I'm wondering what is the likely part that would have gone pop.
Also how do I test the part and if theirs a cheap suitable part to solder in to get it working ?
Amp lights up on pre amp but the signal I have already on receive prior to switching amp on I put amp on disappears totally until I turn pre amp off.
I could be quite tempted to leave as is but I fancied a bash if it may be simple to fix ie a resister or so on .
Thanks
Rm kl 203 pre amp , can I simple fix ?
