Could a loose so 239 on to a radio chassis cause a rf power out fluctuation or drop. And secondly would or could this make audio sound like it was off frequency when transmitting on ssb .

I can understand it possibly losing power if the antenna connection is loose or moving around, but I wouldn't have thought it would've made it change frequency... unless it's naturally "drifting" whilst warming up.
I'm not up on SSB/AM radios though, so I'll step aside and let someone more qualified give their opinion just in case, as I'm probably wrong

I would think that if the antenna socket is loose, there is a risk of RF feedback, which can sound like the radio is off frequency.

Thank you ,I assumed fluctuation of rf power possible but really was unsure of the effect in frequency drift.
