Galaxy Saturn Signal meter not working

Post by slamjam »

Any ideas on this one - Galaxy Saturn ept360014b incoming signal meter not working. I can see voltage at the meter (multimater across terminals) when a radio in the shack goes to TX and there is a reading if I attatch an "antenna" (piece of wire to the meter terminal) so I at least know the moving coil is working but nothing normally. Any help appreciated

d12 checks ok on a meter - will check the switch later when I get in the shack. Looks like someone has been there before me does anyone know how the meters should be wired?

I've checked the switch and followed the circuit back to d12 which is all correct. I have also checked the voltages on the transistors tr13 and tr14 which check out to the correct voltages as per manaul - Also have checked both VR's - Any other ideas? Thanks so far Chris
