Hi I am new on here, but been into radios for over 35 years,
another radio ham has asked me to look at ham int jumbo for him that he just picked up, it was sold as spares or repair, so he has no way of tacking it back to were he got it from,
it did not tx or rx, there were no wires going to the pll from the ch/selector, I think it must have had a uk eprom board fitted then
when they could not get the radio working, they removed it, so I have been going all over this radio, I have been setting it all up again
as the golden pot screwdriver has been in there, rf driver and final are dead , I have now changed them, the bias voltage on the final was 2.6v, I found R38 was broken, 10 ohm, carbon , there was no sign on it , it just came away from its wire base, RF is now working,
I have been going mad setting up the 10.695 usb and the 10.692 lsb oscillators , I have been padding it out with more caps but could not get the 10.692mhz to got on frq it was still 1.8khz out, I have a gps locked counter,
so I took the xtal out, and it is 10.695mhz , the diagram say it should have a 10.692mhz fitted in X3,
so has anyone got a 10.692 xtal that they can sell me or let me have, please please, or tell me were I can buy one from,
Thanks Dave 2e0dmb

Spectrum Communications would be your best bet, I usually have one spare for Cybernet SSB or for LC7131 to LC7137 modifications but i just looked and i dont have any left either, If spectrum has none and you get no other response i can check my spares bins up the attic.

You can also get one made to order from "http://www.quartslab.com/" , but I don't know if the "Q" factor will be the same . Best to try and find one from a scrap radio if you can .
