The amp settings provide a slightly higher voltage, but only by about 0.2V and 0.6V respectively.
If that's 0.9V then that's not right . The transistor should just switch on with a little base current on SSB . If you're doing it using voltage then I usually disconnect one transistor at a time and set them individually . That way you'll also locate any bias issues , if you have them .
