craig l232 agc overload

Post by dt307 »

this is starting to wear me out

normal to weak sigs the radio rx great

get a strong signal and its worse than anything i have heard

pc-582 mainboard schematic included

agc voltage @ d4 cathode 2.47 rising in overload state to 4v+

d16,d17 getting voltage same as above

r42 tested 4.7k good

d16-d19 removed and checked 1n6263 fitted in replace no change so std ones put back.

changed r42 to 15k and its got 30% better but if i go much higher tx goes funny.

any one?

thanks
