I bought a Midland 3001 precision series months back without a lead.
Yesterday I spotted on fleabay from the weewatchshop who I bought the quality Linc mk 1 2830 lead from is now selling them for the precision series and danita .
Very pleased and top quality again.
I do not know or am affiliated with the shop and hope I am able to post this here if not mods please remove.
But thought it may be useful for anyone searching for such a lead.
I just need a get the Mic working now and replace a meter bulb .
Midland 3001 precision series replacement leads.

Re: Midland 3001 precision series replacement leads.
I needed one last year and found a seller of new ones on ebay two days after bonding the old broken one permanently in place with a hot-glue gun. Typical.
Nice to know where to get them from in the future though.

Bit of warm from a hair drier will get that hot melt off and the bits that are left will 'pop' off nicely if you get a bit of isopropyl alcohol onto the join between the glue and the rig

It's only a radio that I was going to lend out so I won't bother taking it apart again, but thanks for the handy tip though.
I'll "stick" with it as it is
