DIY FM board

Post by cb4ever104 »

Hi All .

I was thinking of making and adding an FM board to my 148 GTL . Are there any decent kits available on-line that I can buy/build ?

Thanks in advance .

Sammy

I Know nick knocks up his own FM boards, But dunno if they would suit a cobra, Spectrum comms do FM Boards (kits) But i'd rather eat my own excrement than buy from that ignorant bastardo :x

Nick put one in a 148 GTL for me a few weeks ago and it works great. I think he said they were cloned Uniden ones that he's fitting

RF Communications do a good add on FM board. I have one here waiting for a trip down to Nick's at some point to go into a Galaxy. I think it was around £15.

i get mine from a member on here not sure if he in a position to send out a kit with instructions yet.
ive tested a few versions with and without mic level adjust and he working on a ceramic resonator approach at the moment as the 455 quad coil are getting had and expensive to find, i will ask him as you prob not need instructions just an etched board and the parts and a photo of the completed item

Can't complain about the speed of delivery. I have one sat here waiting to go into an AM/SSB Galaxy.
