galaxy 959 tx frequency changes on tx

I have a galaxy 959 which has been converted to low mid high with all bands as they should be (as per frequency chart) all frequencies show correct on front panel frequency counter in rx but when I key the microphone to tx frequency counter rolls back down the frequency quite a lot.
The conversion was done with a pic board and the radio worked great up until last week. Any ideas or answers appreciated.

HOw far is roll back?

Is the radio actually off frequency on transmit ? There's usually a VR down the front to adjust the TX frequency offset . Not sure what number it is on that radio .

Rolls back fromm 27.555 to 27.301.
It was working fine and when thever problem started I did get the service manual out and set up the rx offsets and tried to do the same with tx but was having problems getting settings on tx to lock.
