Hi, I’m in the process of wiring a crt counter to my stalker 9fdx, can anyone recall the wiring connections? I’ve connected the small centre coax wire to tp3 test point on the left rear of the board using a 12pf ceramic cap, outer brade to the body of a can (earth), yellow usb wire to pink wire on the mode switch, orange to white wire on the mode switch both through 10k resistors, brown to earth and red to 8v..
switch the rig on counter lights up but gives me a reading of 10.695mhz ? Doesn’t change when I turn the channel changer, what am I over looking here guys??

Looks like your getting no , or low RF to the counter . Try it without the capacitor and see if it works . I usually use a 3pF .

No problem If your output power has dropped then use a smaller cap . Sometimes there's no difference and you can use it without the cap . Depends on the radio .
