I was going to sell the 6 band Jackson that I recently aquired . However I'm now thinking that I might keep it for the car . I know it doesn't have the plug on the back , but is there any way to hook up one of those Super Star counters to it , or any other counter to it for a continuous readout ?

The guy in the French forum said you could use both SS and Galaxy . Is that not the case ?

Some of the counters require an internal smt resistor to be removed to make the offset read correctly. There is info on this online. If I get a chance ill link to it tomorrow at some point.

The only thing i know about a pad in side them is you can set the IF frequency into the counter. ie 7.8Mhz or 10.695Mhz you need it on 10.695Mhz so you dont need to play with the pads as the counter is pre set to what you need it for..........

The GALAXY FC347 FREQUENCY COUNTER and the Superstar KFVI Frequency counter are the same just names on the front but all the same on the inside.................

Do a good diy counter for these radio's all so...........
