To access this secret menu, you turn the rig off, then hold the function button down whilst powering the rig on. then press the next three buttons along the top in quick succession. The rig displays bf with a 3 digit number in the freq display. by pressing the function button again you can cycle through the following other settings - fr (with 0 in the ch readout), fr (4 in ch readout), fr (5 in ch readout), fr (9 in ch readout), and lo. What does this abbreviation fr, br???
