That could well be one of the few Mk1's with the serial number starting 130...

I am wondering if I have just bought one of the very last proper Superstar 360FM ?

I know Cybernet had on that had an 05 serial suggesting it was a President Richard and his had modern smaller trimmers,Bias Board etc.

I have just bought serial Number 63007034 suggesting 1986 build :wtf:

Opened it up and it all Old SS360/148 stuff

Clear Channel Selector ribbon

Normal sized resistors,Trimmers,Bias Board

Components have build dates of weeks 22 27 and 31 1986.

Radio is beautiful

Chrome is as new,Radio smells new and everything is as it should be apart from a sticking S Meter (Think its time I started buying them in bulk

Anybody know when officially production of the 148/360 stopped in Taiwan?

May not be a 148 but who cares? Its every bit as good as the one cybernet bought but get this it only cost me £40 :wtf:

This is the newest original spec one I have ever seen ;)

Quarter turn or less on one of the adjuster screws, top or bottom, often fixes that.

I would imagine that someone thinking a screwdriver could fix it are half of the problems. {bnghd}

Many radios I have had issues with have been the victim of a screwdriver expert at some stage.

I hate WD40, it is rubbish at just about everything it is claimed to do.

The only things it is good at are making a mess, and over time attracting dirt and dust.

I have serial numbers,

13003750 PB-010AB Currently dead and needing a lot of work, maybe too much work.

13003942 PB-010AB Alive and 100% working very well and not too bad condition wise but would benefit from a new bezel and face plate.
I will not be commanded, I will not be controlled.
n+1 the formula for working out how many radios you need with n being the current amount.
