No need to pay good money for something you can build yourself and have fun with.
Copper tubing, odd pieces of coax and wire.some bits of pvc pipe or a wooden stick for that matter.... the hardest thing to find will be the small variable tuning capacitor, you might find that in a old shortwave radio or someones junk box.
It is for fun, and you will be surprised how well it can work
