So I bought a TS440s with auto ATU, matching speaker, matching PSU, kenwood desk mic and really nice D104. Got the whole lot for $450.
It was absolutely pristine.

Sold the D104 for $75, so it stood me in $375.

I love my 767GX, so when someone asked to swop my Kenwood 440s for perfect 767gx, with 6m, 2m &70cms module, I jumped at it.
We met halfway, and done the swop. Seemed an honest guy.

Anyway, got it home fired it up. Tuning knob is kaput, and some idiot had tried screwing in a PL259 into the N type socket on the 70cms module! so felt like I was $375 out of pocket, but, I did keep the kenny desk mike which is worth $100. So $275 out of pocket.

Anyway took the radio and module to a local electronics specialist, another ham that repairs radios etc. He offered me $1000 then and there for it, with the 3 modules!

Wow!! anyway, gonna cost me $200 in repair bills, so will be $475 investment in total for the unit that will be worth over $1000! RESULT!
