Re: Ft7800 wide band mod
It won't give you the 6.25khz step required for true 446pmr, also it will mess up the ARS setting but that you can get round by using the hypermemories.sec1223 wrote:Does anyone know the wide band mod for this radio. I need it on 446.

If you get just a YES or NO answer it will mean either you should already know the answer or you have proved yourself incapable of understanding the answer. Also if you think I need to explain what I type then perhaps you should realise your own limitations

446 is 12.5kc steps for analogue. It does however have the dreaded .00125 offset that Ofcom really enjoy imposing on us.

admiral.... do you always have to be a cantankerous old fart all the time, or do you have a day off and actually help someone without being sarcastic?

Which means only radfios with 6.25Khz steps can get them.Admiral wrote:446 is 12.5kc steps for analogue. It does however have the dreaded .00125 offset that Ofcom really enjoy imposing on us.
