It stands to reason that if your registered with an email address then you can get it by email, if not then you get a letter.

Can't be many that aren't registered without an email apart from a few stuck in their ways old timers

How do you think I registered, have a think about it, how am I typing this out now? Because I have internet access, have had since 1990, although it was a different beast then.

I didn't get an email and I check my spam box every day, not that it would block something from Spectrum licensing.

I got a letter because I didn't divulge my email address. Apparently they are fond of sending out ads from the RSGB for the magazine. I try to keep my junk mail down, and they didn't send 24 pages, only the relevant changes in a two page document which I've added to my licence paperwork.

Never had any unsolicited ads via email from the RSGB and they already have my email from when I was a member. I have had more letters than emails from the RSGB asking me to rejoin.

Well, in that case I may give them mine. Better to avoid paper if possible.

Got my e-mail from OFCOM yesterday - never had any spam from the RSGB, good thing as I have no interest in 'The London Wireless Club' at present.

The E was a mistake, did you never read the information about that? It was publicized reasonably well enough.

They will probably read your email and think "oh no - here is another one that did not see the information posted on our site" :)
