just passed my foundation tonight :) over the moon, can get to use my 7000 properly now

cheers :) all three of us passed . a few trickey ones but got threw it .ham test need to update there questions . i seen 3 of the same questions !!an must have done 30 mock papers lol. new callsign cant wait but 11 will always be there :)

n+1 the formula for working out how many radios you need with n being the current amount.

Well done Kieran :D , i remember when i passed the foundation wanted to tell everyone and was so chuffed meant even more than the intermediate :lol: ... i do know that feeling ;)

Well I can see why it means more, It actually gets you on the bands and gets you your first amateur call sign, it entitles you to more than passing the other two as they only give you extra power.

Mostly true but not entirely, you do get access to some new bands having passed the Intermediate, all >10500MHz. 23cm for example. You also get to operate from a boat! :)

thanks guys , yea looking forward to get working a few bands i could only swl too. i have just ordered the intermediate book but am in no hurry to get it . Qrp will be find for now :D

And once fully licensed yo can apply for a NOV lol

Hello, I took my exam (foundation Licence) last night and managed to pass!. I'm Now! - just waiting for my call sign.


Can't wait to use the other band's, with joy!.
