Short Amateur Radio Training Course - Essex

Post by M5AKA »

This brief video shows what to expect on an amateur radio Foundation training course offered by the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scTGAAjBtAc

The Foundation courses are run by volunteers over six Thursday evenings (7-9pm) at the Danbury Village Hall in Essex, CM3 4NQ. Bookings are now being taken for the next course.

The lessons comprise a mixture practical and theory and the view from previous course attendees, is that it's not just boring theory but a whole load of fun as well.

Getting a Foundation licence gives you access to amateur bands at LF, HF (1.8-29.7 MHz), VHF, UHF and Microwave using all modes SSB, AM, FM and Digital.
