Congrats mate.
Did you do anything else to prepare apart from reading the advance study book?

Re: NINE NINE SIX SIX AT LONG LAST FULLY LICENCED :D
Thanks.
My advice is to read the book because most of the questions are based on it .I read the book a lot...... possibly 5 times in total but I became obsessed with understanding as much of the material as my poor brain would allow me too.I found the practice questions on ham tests online very useful but be careful not to just learn the answers and try hard to understand the questions .There are also some practice questions that you can download from the RSGB site. Do try some foreign practice exams eg Australia/USA/etc as this will also help you to understand the material .I found that by having the answer I could use this to figure out how the formula works.
I attended a twelve week course with our club tutor(2 hours per week) and we tried to cover all the material we could from the book.... there were three of us on the course and we all felt frankly a bit confused by it all but we all passed .
You will probably find you are good in some areas and weak in others so it makes sense to focus on the weak areas.
remember licencing and operating practices amount to 14 questions and EMC is a further 8 antennas and feeders is 5 so if you can get all of those right that is 27 already correct...... you have 25 questions on transmitters receivers .
lastly use all the material you can find including any old books from the original RAE oh and do buy the exams tips and secrets book available from the RSGB bookshop
hope that helps and good luck Adrian

I punch all the noughts in too. Powers are fine, but with noughts I can 'see' it and think it.
Just count in your head ... Ten, 100, 1000, 10,000. 100,000, a million, ten million, a hundred million, a billion and so on.
Mega, Kilo ... 0 ... Mili, Micro, Pico. Just go to 'scientific', punch the noughts in, and you really can't go wrong.

At last Adrian well done indeed. Now how about the Morse. I am always around 7.030 or thereabouts if you want some practise. I can even send slower than 20wpm if you want ....
