Foundation Training with Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society

Post by M5AKA »

This short video shows what to expect on an amateur radio Foundation training course offered by the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS)

Foundation courses are run by volunteers over six Thursday evenings (7-9pm) at the Danbury Village Hall in Essex, CM3 4NQ.

The lessons comprise a mixture practical and theory and the view from previous course attendees, is that it's not just boring theory but a whole load of fun as well.

CARS has been very fortunate in having so many members willing to assist in the training in a variety of roles from teaching, acting as out-stations and ensuring there was always tea and coffee available. It has truly been a team effort and one that has invigorated the hobby in Mid-Essex.
