Hello from Delaware USA

Post by ShadeTreeMechanic »

Hi I am from Delaware USA on the mid Atlantic coast. I am currently on 11m AM and side band and am working on my ham license. I often hear skip from North, Central and South America and I am interested in learning what modes and bands are used across the pond to hopefully make DX contacts. Thanks!

Hello from across the pond! We use the same band as you for AM and USB, I've had contacts from the states on channel 38 LSB as well. You could also try 27.555 USB. Good luck with your ham licence

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I am in the process of putting up a sirio vector 4k on the house now. Thinking about a beam tower next. Currently operating from the garage on a Star Duster. Looking forward to more favorable conditions this summer.
