Hi

Post by black olive »

Names Steve, Call G4 WCS. from Chorley, lancs. Licensed in 1983, been fiddling withe electronics/radio for years, interest has recently been rekindled with the legalisation of real CB.

Currently running an Alinco DR-135UK for 11 and 10m, Ive also got a kenwood TS-480 new and boxed, but not in an ideal location for radio, both from an electrical interference persepctive, and grumpy old man in the bungalow behind us perspective complaining to the planning about my antenna, so Im mainly operating mobile.

I've just got hold of an old Belcom LS102 spares or repair, with a view to restoring resurrecting it, so that should keep me busy for a while

Welcome Steve. Great to have you onboard.

Hopefully the neighbour will be told to deal with it and planning permission will be granted!

Thanks for the welcomes. Planning officer is radio friendly being ex signals corp, he's advised him that its a temporary installation and doesnt need planning. Ive now gone for a 10m extending flag/fishing pole which I can pop up and down in seconds
