Hi all,

I am new here and new to the CB too.
Recently went on a trip around Europe and saw everyone is using CB radios to warn and advise eachother of traffic conditions, speed traps, etc
I thought that was cool so here I am, with a cb set up in my car and surely, soon, will be back here for more help

Thank you guys,
I wish we had a larger community of drivers using cb's in their cars, looks like good fun especially on long journeys.
At the moment i started with a CRT Mike i found really cheap (like a cobra 75, one that can be hidden away) and a president new york antenna which i found out it doesnt work on the UK band so i'm looking for a replacement tunable whip now.

I was just looking up that President York antenna you have. When I got to Ebay I learned this useful info =

The set includes 4 m RG 58, soldered shut plug into the radio EN 259/6 and rubber pad under the magnetic base. Magnetic Antenna with atypical appearance. After laying on the roof of the factory recalls antenna for receiving radio stations. Medium range offered by the model hovers around 2 km away.
