Just saying a quick hello, I live in Essex and I am just getting back into radio after 10 years.

Not entirely sure maybe a Kenwood TS2000 or something better depending on finances. I am very limited where I live so would have to go with a long wire type antenna. Thinking about some kind of pump up mast as one part of the hobby I really enjoy is making antenna's so looking forward to constructing a couple of HF beams.

If its anything like tonights AM "net", I would give it a miss and stick to UK40FM, where everyone seems to be.

Sorry to go off topic for a moment, but ain't none I've picked up on UK40 FM around my way AM has been solid for me I got fed up with calling out on UK40 but lets get back on topic this is the newly members lounge
