Hi Adrian,
I'm Mike, live in "New Stoke Village" - AKA the new estate where the Peugeot factory used to be.
I'm active on most of the HF bands (usually on data modes) plus 11m, and have very poor 2m/70cm capabilities.
Hope to hear you on the air for a natter sometime soon!!
Cheers,
Mike.

Hello Adrian,
Nice to speak with you last night.
Conditions were not great but we managed as far southwest as Bridgewater in Somerset, west into Co Donegal and south east into Suffolk.
Again nothing from the north east. I wonder if there is any activity in Co Durham, Sunderland and the surrounding areas.

Hi Adrian,
OK, I usually monitor CEPT Ch27 on SSB, but usually do flick around the other "calling" channels - will have to give UK19 more of a try than I usually do!
I'm hoping to get to the Princethorpe Rally tomorrow morning by the way.
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: It's lonely in Coventry
Hi Mike,
Yeh, I just heard about the rally on the air from Martin (Aligator) today.
I bumped into him chatting to his mate Brian on ch1 uk fm
I will miss it due a airport run to Heathrow early am.
Martin told me they chat on Wednesday nights on ch33 fm mid band usb.
I think I will try to get on next week.
I'm back on tonight (Sat) from 19.00 on ch28 CEPT 27.285 hoping to pick up Thomas 163-CT-1059
