Little bit about me..
Bristol born and bred, Age wrong side of 40, occupation welder, Just got back into CB after a decade or so off air and finding it a little on the quiet side with only 6-7 regular channels in use as opposed to the 15-20 regular channels in use back around 1990/91.
I am situated high up in central Bristol, so i always have had a good range, guess a lot of the old users are now dead and buried or using mobile phones and the web to talk to strangers.
So far i have only come across one mic keyer
in the 3 weeks that i have been back on air, so good to see that there is still some life left in this hobby.No mike-keyers= no one to annoy= time to switch off for good as there is nobody on
