PDW Filter location (Pagers)

Post by pete_uk »

Hi all

I'm migrating to Windows 10 :shh: and I have literally copied all the files from the folder I have it in into a new folder on the Win10 disk. The problem is the filters I have set up have not moved, so I'm wondering if they are somewhere else, but because the programme is pretty much 'drag and drop' with no installation I'm not sure where they could be or why they have not come over with the files.

Can anyone help?

There should be two copies of the filters file within your PDW directory.
filters.ini and filters.bak
Windows 10 doesn't by default stop you manipulating those so they should copy/move without a problem. In my own case I regularly copy my filters.ini file to a different drive for backup purposes.
"Search engine? How do I find that?"
"Sod it, let someone else do it"
