Well in mine they appear in the same directory as SDR#
They can be either IQ.wav or AF.wav files You will have to convert them to mp3 if thats what you want.

You can use VLC Player to convert them.
Hope that helps

Okay found the .wav files within the folder but dont seem to be able to play them thru windows media player, shows playing but nothing heard ? within the recording window on sdr# under Mode I have both the audio and baseband ticked and the sample rate format set to 8 Bit PCM.. These particular settings sound okay ?

Failing that maybe got something set wrong within my windows 10 pc for recording from pc.. any idea how to check what I should have it at to record from the pc than say an external mic etc ?

thanks for your help, appreciatte that.

Hi John,
Look at the file name if it says IQ it is Baseband if it says AF in the file it is just audio.
Tick one or the other im not sure you can set both unless it saves two seperate files at the same time? Ive not tried that.

Baseband saves the I and Q inputs from your SDR dongle, the whole bandwidth, you can send them to others who can use their sdr rx to decode whatever is in the recorded bandwidth But they are almost silent to Mediaplayer or VLC player which is what I use.

Hope that helps cheers Mark
