Best settings uniden ubc785xlt help needed

Can anyone please help, i have a uniden ubc785xlt radio scanner , What would be the best settings for me to use for receiving the PMR446 channels -delay time / mode fm or nfm / steps 6.25 or what ???

Delay time is entirely up to you. How long do you want the radio to wait for another transmission on the channel before moving on. There's no "best value", it's just personal preference.

Mode should be NFM for PMR446 as it should be for most VHF and UHF stuff in the UK. The steps, yes you'll need 6.25 KHz otherwise you won't be able to get the correct frequency in.
