RSP1 rx for DMR decoding ?

Post by gmham »

Anyone here use the RSP1 sdr rx with suitable software to decode DMR ? If so just wonder what you use and what's the best YouTube video to watch to get me started ? One video mentioned an RTL sdr and DSD+ and appeared to be fairly straight forward to set up but not sure if the RSP1 would work just the same, take it the RTL is the stick version SDR receivers ?

I use an RSP1a with DSD+ and Virtual Audio cable to decode DMR. The RSP works great, and I only had to adjust two settings.

The only tricky bit was finding how to pipe the audio to DSD. But it is in RX Control under settings >out.
Operating in South Northumberland and Weardale.
