in all honesty mate and I am not being funny but I think you may struggle once you get the app open its a bit off a nightmare. persoanaly would get the other TM member to teamviewer to your pc to set it up for you, I have been at it for a week or two and still struggling !

Not sure if it's me or stanogs68 mate ? but if poss could I maybe take you up on your kind TeamViewer offer to set up the dmr side off things for me ? . As I say have the programme installed and working just need a hand to configure the settings to decode dmr. No probs to waitt as appreciate the other chap was the one asking for assistance first !!

No worries. I’m in Spain so internet can be a bit iffy but I’ll give you a shout tomorrow 👍

AnyDesk seems more stable for me too, rather than TeamViewer.

No, just give me the code later. I have to do the chores first as set by the missis.

Just a couple of things you can try first which could be easy wins.

1. Make sure you are using a USB 2 port. USB3 don't work!
2. Make sure you are seeing your dongle as a device. I guess broadcast WFM is fine in SDRAngel AND SDRsharp? Not all dongles are supported.
3. I think it's only simplex that you'll be able to receive. Unfortunately I can run it up and use it but even with some great lift it isn't going to hop 1000km to me here. I don't think trunked is supported.

From 17 minutes in the youtube link is worth a look

Catch you later

Good morning to you and thanks for your reply. No as I say have everything working on sdrangel ie receiving fm broadcast / fm narrow band. Am etc etc it's just getting the thing to decode some dmr. Just a bit stuck with all the settings that's what I am saying you managed to decode dmr with it yourself ?

Yes, decoded simplex fine in the UK with Linux. I'm in Spain at the moment so therefore can do no more than install and test as I do not have my DMR handie with me. Drop me a PM when you are available on AnyDesk and include the code and we'll take a look.

No sorry mate got told off from the wife that I was hidden away in that room again !

Radiogaga - okay mate yep will pm you now. the local shopwatch freq is on 453.150 so if you could just set everything up for me for dmr decoding then that would be great. not sure if I have my input / output is correct within the audio settings off sdrangel as showing vb audio for input that was from running sdr#/ the sound is comming out okay from fm broadcast etc so guess the sound output being my speakers is correct ? if you could take a look at these settings.. appreciatte taht.
