In my experience of the Pi and it's Chinese clones it won't have enough grunt to be usable. It would have to be a CLI setup to even consider things, an X manager would hog the CPU. I struggled even on a dual-core 1.6GHz Atom 64bit with 2Gb of RAM, the Net installer versions of Debian and Debian based OS's were needed as you get a minimal base CLI environment without any crap, just enough system to fire it up and add what you need to keep it lean.

If you are doing it 'because I can', then crack on and good luck, if you actually want to use it as a scanner replacement then forget it, it will be sub-par and the $$$ will soon rack up, a cheaper solution for portable is to use a modern Android phone with an SDR via an OTG cable, I don't know if DSD is supported though.

**EDIT**

It seems things have moved on since I had a dabble, I tried Gqrx on a Pi3 and an eight quid RTL and it worked for analogue, I am looking at digital add-ons at the moment. Go here if you want to give it a bash.
