Guys a fellow TM1 member shared a local shop watch Dmr freq with me a while back. Problem is when another chap who kindly offered to write me out a codeplug entered the TG which was given to me as 16777215 it defaults to 16776415, thinking it may have originally been sent wrong possibly with an extra 7 in the number he instead entered the number as 1677215 and it got accepted. Is there anyone who understands these things able to determine from this what the actual number will be?
Unfortunately member has not logged on to TM1 for a good while now "elliotg "
to ask him himself !
Thanks again.

Re: Shop watch dmr freq?
If you're using the hacked firmware (as mentioned in another thread) then the TG is irrelevant for RX purposes. It seems a strange TG number, all of the SW/PW that I have resolved must have had lazy programmers as they've all been TG01.

Yes mate for the 380/390, if it's one of the newer ones it may even snag the CC too.

Re: Shop watch dmr freq?
The tg of 16777215 is normally an all call talkgroup if I mind correctly so any radio on that repeater and time slot will receive.
It is a similar setup as tetra.
When creating the channel rather than group call you select all call. The talkgroup number is not editable.
BUT do NOT have the correct split and select rx only.

Re: Shop watch dmr freq?
Okay cheers will check that out thanks .
Embarrassed to say not got the hang off writing out the code plugs and well to be honest prefer radio rather than computers so anyone fancy modding a code plug I already have here for me by adding the above two shopwatch freqs in for me for my md380 ?
P.s sorry mate you must have typed as I was sending my reply, okay so are you saying my md380 programmed as per your instructions would rx this okay or only with the hacked FW ( promiscuous mode switched on )
In 33 years off radio have never been so confused about an aspect off radio as I am with DMR

Re: Shop watch dmr freq?
Just to add, it is only a tx all call and not a rx all call should anyone think that.
The only way to rx all talkgroups is radios like a md380 or similar with the custom firmware installed
The new dual band radioddity GD-77 does it also but very buggy just now until new firmware sorts it out.

Re: Shop watch dmr freq?
The md380 with the hacked firmware will rx any non encrypted transmission as long as your on the correct frequency, cc and time slot.
