Latest news from WTR Browser...

https://www.facebook.com/groups/wtrbrowser/

Afternoon folks, just a quick update on the offline version of wtr. I've been working on this for a while now and it's coming on leaps and bounds. You can search per grid reference I.e SP and then search your frequency, you can either do a partial search or exact search. All results will be shown in a list and then you click each one to view the picture map (zoomable), picture mapping is less resourceful than browser mapping and quicker. The option to browser map is available by double click rather than single click. You can also search your grid reference, this enables you to search an area that you want to search, example you want to find the frequency for your local shopping centre, use the mapping tool to gain your grid reference and it will give you all the frequencies in that area (business radio).

It's not finished yet and need to test and let my helpers do some testing and make improvements.

This is going to be a stand alone program and not incorporated into the existing wtr browser. You can do all the searches offline, but mapping requires internet connection.

Yes there are free versions around that people have kindly constructed via the excel file. However mine is not free, just a small charge of £5 for unlimited searches as long as the file is available and I'm alive.

It will run on any windows machine.

Any feedback will be greatly received.

WTR BROWSER MK2 1.1 IS BORN.
Ok folks it's ready for you to download. There is no trial at the moment, so if your unsure then please wait for better feedback off the group, please feel free to ask any questions on the group wether you have bought it or not.
A couple of things I need to point out is that it needs to be installed on a windows machine. It seems to support office 2010 and a couple have had problems with other versions. Mike Burgess fixed his 2013 version by installing the 2010 jet engine, the link is embedded into the program to download if you unsuccessful on searching.
Please read all the help files to give you an idea what this does.
