Very nice, but way out of my price range these days. Have they ironed out all of the bugs from the original Alpha?

I don't get it.
AOR still haven't supported simple things like displaying talkgroups/radio ID's in DMR mode etc.
Yet they still charge a fortune for their kit that isn't fully complete yet.
Uniden and Whistler have managed to sort it out but AOR are still lacking, not brilliant really.

Still, better than ICOM who refuse to accept that DMR even exists.

A dedicated Discriminator line out would be nice too.

Scott.

D-CR is NXDN, it is implemented by Icom in their IDAS system and by Kenwood as NEXEDGE..

Yes I'd have thought so in the DMR mode, It would be a good firmware update as there is info displayed whilst receiving DStar transmissions. Whilst as you point out that the DV1 isn't complete, simple firmware updates should help to sort it out. I've had no trouble with mine thus far and the only niggling problem I have due to my location and also trying to move( which will help solve this issue) is a lack of an outdoor wideband antenna. Once I move, then I can sort that out!

It's not so much my Mrs, more that we're going to become parents! So I'm going to be spending what I'd spend on radio gear on Jnr when he or she makes his or her appearance! :D
