close call on a uniden ubc800xlt ????

close call on a uniden ubc800xlt ????

When logging received frequencies on my uniden ubc800xlt how can i get it to show the close call hits it receives like it shows all the other frequencies scanned ????

You need to enable Close call auto store (CC Auto Store) and then any Close call 'hits' will be sit stored into a (created) system called 'Close Call' and a (created) group named 'Found Channels' then resumes searching.

You can then retrieve this information to see what was found, it is easily explained in the 'Easier to read ubc800xlt Scanner Manual'

Yep thats pretty much how i used to find frequencies around my area. I'd walk around with my scanner in my pocket when out doing stuff like shopping doing a Close Call Auto Store.
